The administrator of this page, John Ameen, teaches positive psychology classes at ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, CO.  John's efforts helped ThunderRidge become the first high school in Colorado to have positive psychology as a class and one of few across the country.  Written below is the reason why this page was created-- 

Anxiety and depression symptoms amongst Americans are at an all-time high. Many people feel they don't have direction. Most people don't maximize their days with positive experiences. 

This page's aim is to help people think differently about their daily behaviors and provide scientifically proven strategies from the field of psychology and positive psychology.
